We are a church dedicated to being true witnesses of Jesus Christ. As an all-generational Korean-Canadian congregation based in North York, Toronto, we aspire to obey God’s call to live fully as His beloved and to be a blessing to the world. Our community embarks on three types of journeys: Inward, Outward, and Communal.

Mission of God

The ‘mission of God’ (Missio Dei) refers to God’s overarching purpose to reconcile and restore all of creation through Jesus Christ. It is a divine mission that encompasses spreading the Gospel, fostering justice, and demonstrating God’s love to the world. At Pilgrim Community Church, we are committed to participating in this mission. .

Cuba

Through prayer and discernment, we have felt God’s call to embark on a mission to Cuba in 2024. With the support of “The Christian and Missionary Alliance,” we aim to share the love of Christ and support local communities. Our goal is to be a source of hope and encouragement, reflecting God’s compassion and grace.

1. That we may participate in God’s mission with the heart of Christ bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

2. That we may rely on God amidst the worries and expectations of the new mission field, and that our team may become united in God.

3. That Cuba may be filled with the gospel of Christ, doors that were closed may be opened, and that people may worship God freely.

4. That through our interactions, everyone may proclaim the greatness of God the Creator, Jesus the Savior, and the Holy Spirit the Provider.
